Christina, Dental Hygienist

Dental hygienist Christina

Christina has been a part of the dental world for over 25 years, and for her, the best part of her job comes down to the one-on-one connections she makes with each of her patients. She started her career as a dental assistant before eventually attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to complete her hygiene training.

Christina is married to Nathan, and they are the proud parents of twin boys. She is active in her children’s PTA, and to relax, she likes to go out on her boat and fish in the Laguna Madre. She also loves reptiles and has two turtles, a leopard gecko, and a veiled chameleon!

Amanda, Registered Dental Assistant

Dental assistant Amanda

Amanda has over 15 years of dental experience. She enjoys helping our patients feel comfortable by explaining everything about their treatments so they know exactly what to expect. She is a graduate of Texas State University and is DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) certified. Before joining our specialty dental office, she spent the bulk of her career working in oral surgery offices.

Amanda is currently engaged, and she has one son as well as a baby granddaughter. She lives on a big ranch, so a lot of her free time is spent taking care of her animals or riding horses. She’s also able to play guitar and sing.

Tessa, Registered Dental Assistant/Front Desk

Dental assistant and front desk team member Tessa

Tessa says that the best thing about her job is seeing our patients become overjoyed with their results. She has been in dentistry for over a decade and attended Kaplan College. Thanks to her training, she’s able to work the front desk as well as assist Dr. Garcia with surgeries.

Tessa is a self-described foodie and proud dog mom. She has a Pomeranian named Ali Ears and a Pekingese named Mazy Baby that keep her busy. She stays active by hunting and fishing and likes to go to basketball and baseball games.

Audrey, Dental Office Assistant

No two days are ever the same in dentistry, and Audrey loves this! She is a Corpus Christi native who completed her training at Del Mar College. Outside of the periodontal office, she likes to relax by fishing, hunting, baking, and traveling.

Jennifer, Registered Dental Assistant

Jennifer says that nothing is more rewarding than seeing our patients improve their oral health and confidence thanks to our care. She is a graduate of Kaplan College and is originally from Kingsville.

At home, Jennifer has four wonderful kids that keep her busy, and she also spends a lot of time looking after the animals on her ranch.
